What are carpets made of?

A carpet is a textile floor in your office covering consisting of an upper layer of “pile” attached to a backing. The pile is generally either made from wool or a man-made fibre such as polypropylene, nylon or polyester and usually consists of twisted tufts which are often heat-treated to maintain their structure.

Why choose carpet tiles?

Carpet tiles are square pieces of carpet (often around 16″ to 24″ square but may vary) that can be stuck to your office floor easily and without professional installation. They offer the same soft look and feel of broadloom but they’re far more versatile. Carpet tiles come in a wide variety of colours, styles and materials and can be installed in any way you desire. It’s easy to create unique patterns and designs with very little effort.

The biggest advantage that carpet tiles have over regular wall-to-wall carpeting is that individual tiles can be removed and replaced should they get dirty or stained. Unlike large carpets where stains can set and be difficult to remove, an individual tile can be replaced with very little effort or expense for your budgeting.
